Giveaway! ICON Modus I Flashlight (perfect for your little camper this summer!)

I have a camper this year, and the timing of this review is just about perfect.  We have to pack nearly everything under the sun, and packing the big, heavy flashlight that takes D batteries just wasn’t doing it.  So when I was asked to do this review for the Icon Modus I, I was more than willing!

I received the smaller one in the picture, which is 4 inches long, completely weatherproof, and only takes *1* AA battery.   YAY! It weighs 2.8 oz (yes, I’m that particular and weighed it — besides, it matters if you’re getting on a plane!) and ONE battery lasts 70 hours.

There are two light output levels - you just click the button on the end to change them.  So easy!

I will have to admit that I have not had the change to personally test this product out much except to take it outside to the pond several times because as soon as it came,  my son ran off with it and has used it ever since!  He’s almost 10, so you can imagine he’s had it everywhere with him.  He loves this thing.  I’m glad to know where I can get more if I need one for my daughter because I know this one is going to be his.  The only place in my area that carries these is Radio Shack, but here’s a link so you can find more stores that carry this thing.  I wish more places would carry this, because it’s so rugged that unless it gets lost, it will never need to be replaced.
