NOT Extreme Couponing Video Contest
As part of HotCouponWorld’s 5th year anniversary celebrations we are hosting a fun video contest with some really great prizes!
There has been a lot of buzz around “Extreme Couponing” these days and within the couponing community not all of that attention has been positive
.
With blatant coupon misuse and fraud being shown on national TV, stockpiles of groceries that are borderline hoarding, people clearing shelves and even stealing newspapers, it is all too much and not what the average couponer does.
While many of us are not what the industry call “average” we like to call ourselves “hardcore” or “smart couponers” and that is what this video contest is all about.
We want to see you, the folks in the couponing community, show others how to shop, how to get coupons, how you stockpile smartly and how, in general you are NOT an extreme couponer.
This a fun and (we hope) exciting way to give the couponing community a voice about extreme couponing and show others how it is really done. How you get your coupons, how you shop and how you stockpile honestly, ethically, and within the guidelines set forth by the manufactures and stores and most importantly how you save!

- Deliver a personal monologue.
- Sing it in a song.
- Say it with a poem.
- Act out a play with friends.
- Use illustration or animation.
- Create a comedy act.
Contest Details
All video submissions must include one teaching moment in them. Unlike the TV show, which we feel did not teach anyone anything on how to really coupon and save, we are requiring all video’s submitted to have a teaching moment that shows others something about how to use coupons, how to shop, how to stockpile, etc.
All practices, shopping tips, tricks, hints etc must be honest, ethical, legal, follow the fine print of the coupons and coupon policies of the store you shop at as best as humanly possible. In other words no coupon decoding, no stealing, no trying to slip in coupons that are expired, no copying printable coupons, no stealing of inserts or newspapers, etc. This is NOT Extreme Couponing after-all!

Submissions must be received by July 31, 2019.
Once we have your submission we will then upload it to HotCouponWorld’s YouTube channel and then we will embed the video on our website so that public voting can begin. We will email you to let you know that your video is live on our site and provide you with the link that you can then share with others if you wish (we encourage you to share the link with friends and family and ask them to vote for your video).
Video submissions can be voted upon by the general public, and the top three submissions with the most votes win.
Voting ends August 10, 2019, so the earlier you get your contest submission in the more chances for votes!
