I spent a good part of yesterday preparing for today’s Sunday School lesson. I teach 6th grade Sunday School to a precious group of kids. I had a tough time getting this video downloaded, but I finally did get it about an hour before we needed to leave for church! Of course there was the obligatory “I can’t find my shoes!” which then became “My shoes don’t fit!”. Finally my husband found some shoes that worked - and we were off!
The church service was wonderful-we recognized the veterans in our church family and my husband is one of them. The choir sang one of my favorite songs and one of our soloists did an absolutely beautiful job with her song.
And the Sunday School? The kids were fabulous! The lesson was on obedience and we had a great time. I really, really do enjoy teaching them. So you see, I get back so much for giving to them. They are a huge blessing.
What did you do today? Whose life did you impact for good today?! I’d love to hear about it!
